VTA attends 6th European Greenways Awards in Viseu
From September 12th-14th, 2013 Vidzeme Tourism Association participated in the Greenways Product Project Working Seminar and 6th European Greenways Award Ceremony in Viseu, Portugal.
The Award ceremony and seminar was a very valuable experience, as greenways in Latvia are still in the development process, and it was very interesting to see the best examples from Europe, and learn from the experience of the others.
Valuable contact were made as well, and two European experts will visit Latvia next month for the CBC Project Closing Conference to deliver their presentations on cycling tourism.
